I am a big fan of static websites because they are simpler, more secure, faster and cheaper (to host and run). Static websites can do so much these days. Unless you really need a dynamic website, static is the way to go.
Your website will look great on any device - desktop, tablet or phone. In today's world, when at least 60% of internet access comes from mobile phones and tablets, responsive websites are a necessity - not an option!
Static website are generally safer than dynamic websites, a lot safer. Static websites do not have a content management system and database, thus there is no possibility of making malicious request.
One of the most important functions of SEO is increasing visibility, which means making it easier for prospects to find you when they search for something you have to offer. Visibility is directly related to your ranking. The higher you rank on a search engine result page, the more likely people are to see you and click through to your site and contact you/buy from you.
Web graphics are as significant as the content of the site, they enhance the website design by adding colors, visual appeals and helps in providing artistic professional touch. The websites that don’t have web graphics don’t appeal to visitors. Professionally created and placed graphics can give better and creative ideas to customers of what they are looking for and help you make the sale.
I can provide a full range of services to help complete your website:
Nope! Distance is no challenge in today’s virtual world. The type of business I run means I can work with any business anywhere in the world. All of my client meetings are done over Zoom, Google Meet, or via the phone. Technology allows me to do so much in a small space of time so I don’t believe face-to-face meetings are necessary.
The time limit of any web assignment is normally dictated by the client. How much input you can provide during the initial stages, your availability with feedback, how soon the content is ready – all this affects the speed of completion. The functionality needs may also play a role – more complex sites will take more time to develop. If there is any specific time limit, I always do my best to accommodate client’s requirements.
The age-old question! It completely depends on what you need, but you can rest assured I deliver the best possible value for money and it won’t break the bank. There are quite a few factors that are going to affect the ultimate cost of your website. These factors include how many pages you are going to have, if you will sell products on your website, the graphic work involved, and how interactive your website will be.
Once complete you have total ownership of everything. You are not held hostage by me because everything I code is 100% open source .
It really depends on what type of website you want. We’ll be able to discuss this on our discovery call before we start working together.
Some of this might already be on the existing website, in which case it can be transferred over to the new site.
Yes. Your website will be fully responsive and will look great on all devices. I don’t charge extra for this. It comes as standard.
There are many different ways to update websites. The method you choose and the functionality I build into your design is solely up to you. If you have a small website of just a few pages and will only wish to make changes very infrequently, then usually it is more cost effective simply to ask me to carry out these changes for you. Alternatively, if your website has CMS (content management system) you might be able to update individual products/pages/services or particular sections of your website such as company news.
Absolutely! I’m, actually, a big fan of one page websites as it’s always good to start small and expand later, if there is an actual need. There are many pros of one page websites such as ease of use, better user engagement, better conversions etc.
Hi, I'm Alena! I'm a freelance web designer and developer based in Zatec, the Czech Republic.
After graduating from Macquarie University in Sydney with a
Master's in International Relations, I made a pivotal
decision. I put my 'world-saving dreams' on hold, taught
myself to code, and embarked on a journey to make the web a
more beautiful place.
Beyond coding, I'm all about an active lifestyle—
kayaking, biking, swimming and yoga. I speak English, Czech,
Spanish, and dabble in German and Italian.
Working remotely allows me to travel and reside away from major cities and towns. Before settling back in the Czech Republic after 18 years abroad, I spent a significant amount of time traveling the world, including two round-the-world trips. Australia was my previous home for 15 years.
